My, What Long Legs You Have!

Today’s post features images of a wonderful little shore bird, the Black-necked Stilt, that I captured during my February photo trip to Florida. Myakka River State Park is a wonderful place to see/photograph birds. One of the unique birds I sometimes see here is the Black-necked Stilt. Standing tall with their skinny, long legs, they are fun to watch as they forage about the shallow waters of the Myakka River. Here are a few of my favorite images:
