Shortly after arriving at the Lee Metcalf NWR in southwest Montana, I was graced with beauty as the 2 adult osprey (Pandion haliaetus) flew over:
The osprey at this location have a nest that is close to the refuge road. When I visited, the nest was active with one small osprey in the nest. Tomorrow’s post will feature some more osprey images, with “Junior” in the nest. :o)
