Today’s post begins a few of images made in Yellowstone National Park (Wyoming) on our trip home from the Alaska workshop. Today, I’ll feature a very smart bird that is oh so common in Yellowstone anymore … the Common Raven (Corvus corax). You might remember my post from earlier this year, where the intelligence of the raven was evident. Today’s post is not about intelligence, but just some up-close looks at the beauty of this giant bird (about the size of a small hawk):
And in this next image, he is crying out to passersby, looking for a handout!
