Today’s post features a Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes) that was wandering along the beach at Hallo Bay (Alaska) when I was photographing Brown Bears, a few years ago. It is quite common to see red foxes at Hallo Bay, especially in the spring. This beautiful animal was not at all hindered by the presence of humans … he actually came right up to us, within about 10-15 feet!
This next image shows that not only Brown Bears can dig up razor clams!
