Black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta) is now blooming at the nearby natural prairie. Here are a few images I captured the other morning as I hiked the prairie:
This beautiful wildflower is growing in some nice patches right now. And there are still more, small “Rudy’s” preparing to make their emergence into the prairie landscape:
