Thanksgiving Blessings, Revisited

I posted this image 2 years ago, for Thanksgiving, and I think it is probably still appropriate today. I will be spending the day with family on my side … my Dad, brother, 2 daughters (and husband, and boyfriend), and 5 grandchildren.  And in a few days, we’ll repeat this scene with family on my wife’s side.  This is a family tradition we have been involved with for many years. And like a lot of us do, I’m sure we will manage to stuff ourselves silly, another Thanksgiving tradition for as long as I can remember!  :o)

Just thinking of the Thanksgiving activities makes me think of a Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) I ran into while kayaking in 2010:

Did any of you feel like this poor goose? I hope everyone has a full plate of Thanksgiving Blessings this wonderful holiday!
