Today’s post comes from my recent road trip. While photographing at Maroon Bells (Colorado), I ran across a patch of white wildflowers (I haven’t yet identified the species, but looks a lot like our Shasta daisies). While setting up my tripod to photograph the patch, a white butterfly (not sure of ID, but looks like it might be a Southern White) began flower-hopping, finally settling in on one of the plants. I snapped these images of the white butterfly on the white wildflower:
