Seeing Clearly

Today’s post features an interesting visitor to my butterfly gardens, the Clearwing Hummingbird Moth. As of lately, I see at least one of these little beauties daily, both in my home butterfly garden and the butterfly garden I tend at the church.  Can’t get enough of these lovely visitors!

The butterfly gardens are really attracting butterflies, moths and other pollinators right now … I’m sure more posts are forthcoming that feature our visitors!

 

Photographic Equipment Used:

  • Canon 7D body
  • Canon 180mm, f/3.5 macro lens + Canon 1.4x TC
  • Canon 500mm, f/4 IS lens + Canon 1.4x TC
  • ISO 200 and ISO 1600
  • Aperture f/22 and f/5
  • Shutter Speed 1/20 sec. and 1/800 sec.
