Images from today’s post comes from Prairie State Park in southwestern Missouri. I photographed there for 2+ days in early October and had a great time chasing prairie creatures and wildflowers … ok, maybe I didn’t have to chase the flowers … around the beautiful fall-blooming wildflowers. You might remember an earlier post where I featured a macro photograph of a Paper Wasp (Polistes spp.):
Well, today’s post contains a couple more images of these little guys as they stayed busy collecting nectar from the many white wildflowers on the prairie. Funny thing, I don’t recall seeing any on any flowers except these white ones! Hope you enjoy these images:
