Today, I’m taking a short break from the bear posts, but will be back with more Katmai Brown Bears very soon!
As we sat along Clint’s Creek, near the Hallo Bay Bear Camp (Katmai National Park, Alaska) photographing bears fishing in the creek, I noticed an adult bald eagle was sitting across the creek from our small group. A little later, the eagle showed signs of getting ready to take flight … you know, lightening the load. Seeing this, I concentrated my camera lens on the eagle and made a series of about 15 images of the beautiful bird taking flight. Here are 4 of the images in the sequence I made:
