A few days ago, I posted on some wildflowers I found in Glacier National Park, in northwest Montana (if you missed that post, here is a link: “Wildflowers of Glacier NP, Part 1”). Today’s post includes a few more wildflowers that I found during my recent trip there.
This first wildflower is Beargrass (Xenophyllum tenax). In this first image, you can see a large patch of Beargrass in bloom, against a high rock wall:

Another beauty I found was the Wild Geranium (Geranium caespitosum):
Another common wildflower I found was the Gaillardia Blanketflower (Gaillardia aristata):
I still have a few more wildflowers to share, so another post will be forthcoming … imagine finding all these wildflowers in the beautiful landscape of Glacier NP, with some isolated snow patches still waiting to melt … what a sight!
