While hiking the natural prairie near my rural Missouri home this past Saturday morning, I ran upon a group of dried wildflowers that caught my eye.
What captured my attention with these flowers? Well, first I believe the wonderful colors … white, tan, beige, all complimenting each other. Secondly, the appearance of dead wildflowers that someone arranged into a beautiful floral arrangement in a vase. I’m still wondering what species the wildflowers are. Not sure, but likely a species of Helianthus (sunflowers and sunflower-like wildflowers). Which of the 3 compositions is your favorite? Mine is the bottom composition, with the flowers “arranged” close together and shot vertically, giving the flowers some added strength.
